A quick and easy air fryer recipe delivering crispy, perfectly cooked mixed vegetables in just 12 minutes, using only five simple ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups (600g) mixed vegetables (broccoli florets, cauliflower, sliced carrots, snap peas)
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ¾ teaspoon salt (sea salt or kosher salt recommended)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and let it run for about 3 minutes.
  2. Pat fresh vegetables dry with a clean towel or thaw frozen vegetables completely and blot dry.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine mixed vegetables with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and salt. Toss to coat evenly.
  4. Spread the vegetables in a single layer in the air fryer basket to allow hot air circulation.
  5. Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 12 minutes, shaking or stirring the basket halfway through at 6 minutes.
  6. Check for doneness; vegetables should be golden and crispy on the edges but tender inside. Add 2 more minutes if extra crisp is desired.
  7. Taste and adjust seasoning with more salt or a squeeze of fresh lemon juice if desired.

Notes

Dry vegetables thoroughly before air frying to ensure crispiness. Avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket to prevent steaming. Shake or stir halfway through cooking for even browning. Adjust seasoning after cooking for best flavor. If air fryer runs hot, reduce temperature by 10-15°F to avoid burning.
