A quick and festive no-bake treat combining creamy white chocolate, crunchy rice cereal, and patriotic sprinkles. Perfect for summer parties and last-minute celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 10 oz white chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cups rice cereal
  • 1/2 cup patriotic sprinkles (red, white, and blue)

Instructions

  1. Line a 9×13 inch baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. Place white chocolate chips and unsalted butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 20-second bursts, stirring between each, until melted and smooth (about 3-4 minutes).
  3. Gently fold rice cereal into the melted chocolate mixture using a spatula, coating evenly without crushing.
  4. Pour the mixture onto the lined baking sheet and spread evenly to about 1/4-inch thickness.
  5. Sprinkle patriotic sprinkles evenly over the top and press lightly into the chocolate.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes until firm (or 20 minutes in the freezer).
  7. Lift the bark from the parchment and break into irregular pieces.
  8. Serve and enjoy.

Notes

Melt butter with white chocolate for a smooth texture. Avoid overheating white chocolate to prevent seizing. Add sprinkles quickly before chocolate sets. For vegan version, use dairy-free white chocolate and coconut oil instead of butter. Can substitute rice cereal with gluten-free cereal or cornflakes. Adding chopped nuts adds extra crunch.
