A quick and simple snack featuring mini sausages wrapped in buttery crescent roll dough, served with a tangy-sweet honey mustard dip. Perfect for parties, game days, or a cozy snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package crescent roll dough (about 8 oz / 227 g)
  • 8 oz mini sausages (cocktail sausages or little smokies)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons mustard (yellow or Dijon)
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together 2 tablespoons honey, 2 tablespoons mustard, and ½ teaspoon garlic powder until smooth. Set aside.
  3. Unroll the crescent dough and gently separate the pre-cut triangles on a clean surface.
  4. Place one mini sausage on the wide end of each crescent triangle, then roll up toward the point, wrapping the dough snugly around the sausage.
  5. Arrange the wrapped sausages seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving about 1 inch (2.5 cm) space between each.
  6. Optional: Brush the tops with melted butter or egg wash for extra shine and crispness.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the crescent rolls are puffed and golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly for 5 minutes before serving warm with the honey mustard dip.

Notes

Do not overstretch the crescent dough to avoid tearing. Seal edges well to prevent unrolling. Use parchment paper for easy cleanup. If refrigerated before baking, add a couple of extra minutes to baking time. For a spicier dip, add sriracha or cayenne pepper. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheated in the oven at 350°F for 5-7 minutes.
